I have used wikis to share resources lists or pathfinders with students for research projects. I have also used wikis to deliver project based learning, for example in a collaborative project with one of our guidance counselors for students related to career development. The students really enjoying posting their work for easy presentation and sharing and provided thoughtful comments. We enjoyed using the wiki for content delivery because everything was housed in one place, URL's, documents, projects, and comments. Donna

Elizabeth asked how to use fractions on a wiki page. My suggestion:
Create a Word document, save it as a web page (File Save As, >Other formats>Web page (from the drop down menu). Word docs saved as Word docs put spaces that we are unaware of in-between characters and words, which gums up the translation into html.
Copy and paste the contents of the Word document onto the wiki page:
½ + ½ =1
Ta da! Don't you just love technology when it works?!

Does anyone else have a simpler solution?
